A space frame with intricate geometry, the Ano Liosia (Athens) indoor stadium is covered by a barrel vault shaped space frame supported by two more polygon space frames on either side. Large sections of the façade have also been covered with a space frame structure therefore minimizing the overall dead load on the foundation.
